Coffee has a role in the Mediterranean diet, because people who live in the Mediterranean region tend to drink lots of coffee. They usually don't have milk in their coffee, think of Greek coffee, for example. Recent research studies show that dairy products are bad for us. Milk seizes our calcium bone, and cheese and milk are both linked to the risk of prostate cancer. Advertisers have done a good job in convincing us that milk is good for us. Not! Also, children from both sexes can develop zits from consuming dairy products.

Experts now agree that coffee is good for us, as long as you drink it to taste. Apparently, four espresso a day is fine. Likewise for Italians, who succeed in this!

It seems that coffee protects our liver from cirrhosis and improves our blood circulation. This can also help protect us from certain cancers, especially prostate, pancreatic and bladder cancer.

It also protects our teeth from damage and is a great source of antioxidants that protect us from free radicals in our body that can cause cancer. Of course, we also get antioxidants from fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as other foods, but coffee contains 600 times more antioxidants than fruit.

Antioxidants can delay the aging process, giving our skin youthful elasticity. They can help fight wrinkles and crow's feet that form around the eyes as you get older.

Science has found that if you drink between 3 and 5 cups of coffee a day, it can protect you from developing dementia, Parkinson's disease and all that, it can also help you live longer.

Coffee can also fight depression so that it can reduce the risk of suicide. Of course, it would be better if you drink black coffee without sugar. Sugar certainly isn't good for us. If only we could get away from it, we would be much healthier.

Naturally, everyone reacts differently to coffee. Some people experience panic, anxiety, insomnia, insomnia, and headaches due to their caffeine intake.
Drinks certainly increase mental alertness, which is why many people drink a cup of coffee right after they wake up in the morning. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee usually makes us feel better and more awake.
